    • ​I discovered early on that if I wanted to maintain my sanity, then I HAD to have a neat, beautiful, calm place to walk into after a long day of work.

    I want to be completely honest about my struggles in my early days of trying to balance running a business with running my home and keeping my children alive (and educated).

    I actually got to the point where my health was at serious risk (I actually had to drive myself to the ER on Christmas morning).

    So, how did I turn it all around and get to this place where everyone is constantly asking for my secrets?
    • Was it the piles and piles of books that I read on subjects from cleaning toilets, to building habits, to time management, to catering? Maybe.
    • Was it the years worth of cleaning schedules, checklists, and SOPs that I created based on so much trial and error (and error, and error, and error!)? Maybe.
    • Was it all of the dreamboards, Pinterest boards,and magazine clippings that I have saved and created in order to manifest my ideal home? Maybe.
    • ​Was it all of the different women that I have interviewed who have the skills that I wanted in my own life (gourmet chefs, professional housekeepers and organizers, Moms with many children, SCRUM experts)? Maybe.
    Or...was it the fact that I was absolutely unwilling to continue down the road of burn-out, despair, overwhelm, and hamster-wheel housekeeping...and deciding that I was worth it, my family was worth it, and I and my family deserved to live in a home that was life-giving and not soul-sucking??? YES! 100%
